Head of Marketing

About the Role

Provus is seeking an experienced, innovative integrated marketing-minded Head of Marketing to accelerate the company’s growth. This is an exciting role for a proven marketer who is entering his/her prime as a leader/manager and fearless in building up a marketing operation from humble beginnings. The candidate must prove successful experience in mass market demand generation and ABM-ABS. S/He will work closely with Sales leaders to build fiscal year and quarterly plans featuring lead gen, pipeline, and revenue goals, then build creative integrated marketing campaigns that utilize the entire marketing mix. The candidate is responsible for delivering pipeline results while helping Provus stand out as a competitively differentiable brand for its customers.

The successful candidate is eager to jump in the trenches, roll up his/her sleeves, and accelerate execution with an existing team of resources. As momentum increases, the candidate will build out a team for scale. The candidate will have responsibility for setting KPIs and metrics across his/her span of control and should be comfortable with numbers, highly adept at drawing and acting on data insights, and possess executive bearing in reporting regularly to Provus’ ELT, board, and investors.

Responsibilities

  • Create Sales-Marketing FY interlock plans on lead gen, pipeline, revenue, and conversion goals
  • Triangulate revenue goals with right-sized marketing plan and rationalized budget
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales to solidify ICPs, market segmentation, target accounts
  • Solidify value-based messaging to drive industry dialogue and demand generation
  • Design ABM-based integrated marketing campaign plans that drive awareness and demand to target account lists
  • Create and innovate. Develop integrated marketing campaigns that drive results while standing out from run-of-the-mill cookie-cutter approaches at other B2B tech sector companies
  • Execute a rationalized strategy for nurturing accounts
  • Ideate, produce content marketing assets and collateral
  • Manage company website and align with brand, messaging, and lead gen goals
  • Rationalize and solidify event portfolio including speakerships
  • Manage all AR, PR, and corporate communications for the company
  • Set KPIs, metrics, and dashboards for consolidated reporting
  • Establish systems stack to enable agile, effective marketing performance
  • Leverage and manage Salesforce, Hubspot, and other marketing tools to track, analyze, and measure marketing performance

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in marketing leadership roles for B2B SaaS companies, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong results
  • Experience marketing CPQ, Quote-to-Cash, CRM, or ERP to CROs, RevOps, Services, CFOs a plus
  • Solid balance of art and science – creativity in ideating integrated marketing campaigns and business mindset in efficiently managing goals, numbers, and operations
  • Experience with Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to distill meaning out of data and translate into action
